LETTER TO THE CLHHSIAA FROM DEQUAEVAUIS A. WILLIAMS, 2025 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT
Dear Charles Lincoln Harper High School International Alumni Association,
I don’t think I have ever cried this hard from gratitude. Thank you all for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. It means so much to know that my hard work has been seen.
Attending all four years of high school while being vision impaired was not easy, but I never gave up because education has always been a priority for me. Support from kind people like you makes it possible for me to continue my journey.
I promise to make you proud. Thank you again for this blessing.
Best regards,
Dequaevauis A. Williams, 2026

LETTERS TO THE CLHHSIAA FROM HANNAH MORRIS & ZAKI PARHAM, 2025 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
Dear Scholarship Committee of the Charles Lincoln Harper High School International Alumni Association,
I hope this letter finds you in great spirits. As I approach the end of my high school journey, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for selecting me as one of the recipients of your beloved school’s scholarship. It is truly an honor to be recognized by your organization.
Your support means more to me than words can fully express. This scholarship not only eases the financial burden of pursuing higher education but also serves as a powerful motivation to continue striving for excellence and push towards the goal. High school has been filled with challenges and triumphs, and receiving this award reaffirms my hard work.
As I prepare to graduate and embark on the next chapter of my life, I carry with me the lessons and values that have been instilled in me through my education and family. Your generosity inspires me to give back to my community and uplift others, just as you have done for me.
Once again, thank you for your incredible support and investment in my future. I am truly grateful.
With appreciation,
Miss Hannah Morris, 2025
Dear Charles L. Harper High School International Alumni,
I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for being selected as a recipient of the Charles L. Harper High School International Alumni. It is an incredible honor, and I am truly thankful for your generosity and support of my education.
This scholarship will make a significant impact on my academic journey at Georgia State University, where I am pursuing Film and Media. I am committed to making the most of this opportunity and will work diligently to excel in my coursework and contribute meaningfully to my field. Your generosity serves as a great inspiration, and I hope to one day be in a position to give back and support future students as you have supported me.

Greetings Fellow Trojan Alumnus,
The Charles Lincoln Harper High School International Alumni Association, Inc. hosted the
Annual Scholarship Fundraiser Meet and Greet Event on
February 28, 2026 at the C.T. Martin Natatorium and Recreational Center.
Our theme this year was "Musical Decades," and we invited each class to decorate its table according to its specific decade. They were also encouraged to dress in attire from their decade!
To all graduating classes of Charles Lincoln Harper High School, your participation and support helped to make the Annual Scholarship Fundraiser Meet and Greet a success. The eventful afternoon allowed us to unite, connect, and socialize. It was also a great opportunity for business networking and to have a great time at the event.
The purpose of the event was to provide financial support for our scholarship awards and increase membership in the association. Currently, the Alumni Association has awarded $29,000.00 in scholarships to 29 scholars in the Atlanta Public Schools, the Metro Atlanta School Systems, and to eligible alumni family members.
Reminder, the deadline for all Scholarship pledges is May 17, 2026.
THANKS to everyone for your support and service to honor our legacy as C. L. Harper High School Alumni.
